About Me
Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for considering me for your special day.
Im a qualified hairdresser and makeup artist of 20 years. I have lived abroad and worked in many salons world wide. I am now based in Pāpāmoa Tauranga.
From the beginning....
I was born and raised in a small farm town in the Waikato. It was always clear from a very young age, that hair and makeup was my thing. I moved to Tauranga straight out of school to study at the Hairdressing Academy and the College of Beauty Therapy.
I finished top of my class and had been offered a job before I graduated. Whilst working in the salon, I was offered a barbering apprenticeship. I thought this would be an excellent skill to travel with as I knew I wanted to go overseas.
I gained a National Certificate in Barbering, then moved to the Gold Coast in Australia. This is when I really found my passion for weddings. I was working in a busy salon in Pacific Fair, doing hair and makeup as well as my regular clients for cuts and colours. I could of lived there for ever. I was in my element. But not forgetting my original goal of travel, I soon moved to Scarborough in Perth to save up for my big O.E.
I lived and worked in London and traveled Europe before meeting my now husband. Together we lived in Cardiff, Wales where we had our second daughter before moving to France. Returning to NZ, we had our third child in New Plymouth.
My husbands career as a professional rugby player took us all around the world and lead us to beautiful Taranaki where we have been for the past five years.
All of a sudden a new opportunity come up for my husband to take on a new position in Papamoa in April 2019.
We decided to take on a new challenge with three children in tow. Its funny how life works out. The very place I begun my career. I now have the opportunity to be apart of weddings all over the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
We then welcomed our fourth baby in 2024.
As a professional hair and makeup artist, my main goal is to help clients look and feel their best. I use high quality, high end products to get that long lasting flawless finish. I'm committed to searching for the latest techniques and trends in the field to ensure that each service is of high quality and performed with the utmost care.
